The italian restaurant offer to londoners some spooktastic treats this October, in the shape of your favourite All Hallows Eve characters. From bats and cats to pumpkins and ghosts, enjoy a biscuit, meringue or cake with a spooky twist for the kids’ trick-or-treating or just to get into the spirit.
London House, Battersea
Devilish destination restaurant London House will be suitably spooked-up this Halloween with a special a la carte menu from Head Chef Anna Haugh. A starter of pumpkin and ginger soup served in a severed pumpkin will kick off proceedings, whilst a special main features crispy pork belly, colcannon and mini candied apples. Finish with a fright as you shatter the top of a crème brûlée to find a blood apple filling served alongside witch finger biscuits.
Bread Street Kitchen, St Pauls
Bravely tap three times on the bar of Bread Street Kitchen to try a terrifying tipple, The Smashing Pumpkin, available for a limited time. With a base of Monkey Shoulder, this frightfully seasonal sip combines homemade pumpkin syrup with fresh lemon and mint, served in a mini pumpkin shrouded in dry ice. To carry on the spooky festivities, award-winning magician Michael J Fitch will be casting spells, confusing with slight of hand and bewitching diners throughout the day on Sunday 1stNovember.
York & Albany, Camden
This all-hallows eve, York & Albany will be transformed into London’s destination haunted house. Carved into the converted stables, the recently transformed deli will make guests shriek with its hair-raising décor. Be ready, you can get ghoulish with two special cocktails – the rum-based Walking Dead and the whisky-based Destiny’s Eye. Creepy canapés will be served throughout the evening including squid ink arancini and pumpkin velouté. Everyone will just die to get a slice of the graveyard cake served at the end of the night!
Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble : Body bites at Cinnamon Soho
This Halloween at Cinnamon Soho, a new limited edition Body Bites menu is sure to give diners a real taste ofgore-met. Promising a truly offal scare at Vivek Singh’s modern Indian restaurant located on Kingly Street, three freaky fried and flame-grilled dishes celebrating lesser-loved cuts will be available on the menu from 19th – 31stOctober.
