Have you ever tried whisky in an igloo? Have you ever created you own whisky cocktails in an igloo? Well, if not, it’s time for you get the experience with Copper Dog Whisky at The Sipping Room from Drake & Morgan.

Copper Dog, the Jack Daniels of the UK

I was invited to an igloo party at The Sipping Room last night. Not a big fan of whisky, I already tasted some in Scotland and Ireland. To be honest, it always burns my throat but I like the taste of whisky.

Apple Dog : Copper Dog whisky with Apple juice

« Copper Dog is a Scotch whisky that sums up all that is good about Speyside. A combination of eight single malts, Copper Dog is deliciously fruity with a hint of honey and spice. »
*Now available in Waitrose

The full Copper Dog experience

The Sipping Room – located in Canary Wharf – has it all covered with giant pop-up igloos and Copper Dog has two exclusive igloos there. Get warm up in this cozy space and create your own cocktails!

First, we all had an Apple dog cocktail while Calum introduced us to Copper Dog history.
« Named after a device used to sneak whisky from the cask to smuggle home, Copper Dog has that same irreverent, cheeky spirit without losing the classic Speyside tradition. »

Then we went to an igloo and Finn from Copper Dog explained us how to make our own cocktails with Copper Dog whisky. We made the Winter Spiced Old Fashioned : Copper Dog, spiced syrup, vanilla bitters.

To end the evening, we had the Bakewell Punch hot cocktail : Copper Dog, berry cider, apple juice and orgeat. I highly recommend this one if you like having a mulled wine in winter.
